Where and how to service Rungu
Rungu is designed to be easy to maintain and service. Anyone who services bicycles can repair or service Rungu. Since we build Rungu in the US, we stock most parts at our factory; those we don’t stock we source from US suppliers in a matter of days. In fact, most of the components are bicycle parts that you can purchase through the Internet from multiple bicycle suppliers – tires, tubes, rims, pedals, etc. The few parts that are custom to Rungu can be purchased from us by emailing support@riderungu.com or calling our main number. These parts include the frame, rack, battery case, motor, stems, linkage, and fat-tire suspension forks.
The Rungu support page is where we post the latest videos and documents on how to service and maintain Rungu. The team at Standard Bearer Machines constantly updates the support page with documents and videos explaining installation and maintenance. If you cannot find the information you need, please email support@riderungu.com or call our main number. We can schedule a live call with one of our technicians to help as well.
Rungu ships all units with basic support tools. Each Rungu ships with a USB key that includes service videos and documents. We also include a set of hex wrenches that let you loosen, adjust, and tighten most of the fasteners on a Rungu. The Rubicon Edition includes a 12V outlet, 12V air compressor, spare tube, chain/tire tool, and spare chain to service flats and broken chains in the backcountry.
