The real-world off-road range of a typical electric Quad ATV (E-ATV) is generally 20–50 miles (32–80 km) per charge, depending on the model, battery size, terrain, rider weight, and usage. This is shorter than gas ATVs due to battery limitations and higher energy draw in demanding conditions like deep mud, steep hills, sand or towing—as much as 80% less than manufacturer “optimal” claims. E-ATVs shine in quiet operation, instant torque, and low maintenance, but range anxiety is real if you expect to encounter difficult terrain.

Multiple battery packs dramatically extend Rungu Dualie off-road range compared to E-ATVs. The table shows that Rungu Dualie models range from 18 to 21 miles on throttle alone when riding off-road.  These ranges are equivalent to REAL quad E-ATV range off-road. All Rungu Dualie battery packs are field swappable and interchangeable. They weigh 9 or 12 lbs; in other words, carrying an extra battery weighs only 8% to 13% more and you double the practical range. By extension, carrying two extra batteries can triple the range up to 63 miles, significantly more off-road than even a gas-powered ATV. And at a fraction of the weight!
