Battery packs and upgrade kits for Legacy 2kW and LE models only. The battery cases are made in the USA to house the older 72V batteries (LE models – 1100W) and the same 52V batteries we use in Rungu Dualie® XR models (910W). They are compatible only with the LE style undercarriage controller mounts.
NOTE – IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LEGACY 12.5AH BATTERIES (small format), WE NO LONGER SOURCE THESE BATTERIES – SELECT THE UPGRADE KIT DESCRIBED BELOW.
The aluminum casing and connector socket protect the battery from accidents and abuse. See descriptions below for compatibility and product explanations.

Legacy 2kW Electric Juggernaut products used a 12.5 Ah 52V small format battery and controller case as pictured below
Standard Bearer Machines, LLC no longer supports or supplies these parts. If you need a battery replacement for this product, purchase the LE upgrade kit described below.
52V-17.5Ah with Battery Housing – no charger
Battery case compatible with LE and Legacy 2kW hub drive units with the LE upgrade kit. Case includes the 910Wh battery. This battery and case is compatible with 52V chargers, NOT with 72V chargers. The battery case fits in LE-style controller housings
52V-17.5Ah with Battery Housing – with charger
Same as 52V-17.5Ah with battery housing, but also includes 52V (58.6V 7.5A) charger with special connector
72V-15Ah with Battery Housing – no charger
Battery case ONLY compatible with LE models. Case includes the 1100Wh battery. This battery and case is compatible with 72V chargers, NOT with 52V chargers. The battery case fits in LE-style controller housings and with LE 74V controllers. DO NOT USE THIS BATTERY AND HOUSING WITH LEGACY 2KW SYSTEMS – IT WILL RENDER 52V CONTROLLERS AND MOTORS UNUSABLE AND UNREPAIRABLE.
72V-15Ah with Battery Housing – with charger
Same as 72V-15Ah with battery housing, but also includes 72V (80+V 5A) charger with special connector
52V-17.5Ah LE Upgrade Kit
Includes:
- Battery (910Wh) and case compatible Legacy 2kW hub drive units
- Charger with connector compatible with battery and case
- Controller and housing kit to replace small format battery housing and controller
- Installation instructions
We test every battery pack at our factory in Southern California. Some suppliers build the battery pack and ship without checking performance of the battery.
Rungu batteries and chargers are warrantied for one year from the date of shipment. If you have a problem, return it and we’ll ship you a new one.
