External Charger Port for legacy Electric MDV units. This external port lets you charge single-battery units without removing the battery cover to access the charger cable.
NOTE – do not use the port to charge the battery when ambient temperature is below 33 degrees Fahrenheit. In freezing conditions, always remove the battery and charge it in an area with ambient temperature greater than 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Charger port upgrade
UPGRADE kit includes:
- Charger port with pig-tail
Rungu recommends this upgrade for all Single-battery Mid-Drive electric units prior to the Rungu Dualie release.
This upgrade requires removal of the panel plug on the side of the battery case and no additional tools. Watch the installation to determine if this something you can do yourself or if you need a bicycle technician to perform the installation for you:
