Rungu Dualie® Rugged

The Rungu Dualie Rugged takes the Rungu® single-battery platform to the extreme. The Rugged includes all the features of the Rungu Dualie Steep and adds a skid-plate, upgraded quad-piston dual front brakes, upgraded tires with Tannus Armour liners, the Rungu Gear Shield and other important accessories. Rungu Dualie Rugged includes the latest 19.2 Ah 52V battery – 30% more range than Steep or Standard. Use Rugged for rocky terrain, off-trail forest excursions and steeper cross-country terrain. Optional Ball Hitch lets you tow up to 300 lbs.

Accessory - Rear Suspension Options

Cushion your ride with a suspension seat post or a suspension saddle. Kinekt suspension seat excel for more difficult off-road terrain; the FS-CR suspension saddle is the choice when you're in the saddle for long periods of time on milder off-road terrain.

Factory Upgrade - Rohloff Speedhub

Though Rungu has been building custom Rungu Dualie units with the Rohloff Speedhub for years, Rungu now offers the Rohloff Speedhub as an upgrade option available on all Rungu Dualie builds. Made in Germany, the Rohloff speed hub replaces the derailleur with a sophisticated 14-speed mechanism inside the rear hub. Having a single rear sprocket eliminates the risk of chains breaking due to gear changes.
