Mud guards protect you from mud and spray in wet weather and come standard with all Rungu Dualie and Rungu Dualie XR models except Rungu Dualie Standard. Aluminum, full-length front mudguards use Mud Diverters; Mud Diverters keep mud from collecting under the mud guard in very muddy conditions. These new diverters are exclusively available on Aluminum full-length mud guards only and began shipping on Rungu Dualie models starting in July 2024.

Rungu Dualie Aluminum Full-Length Mud Guards with Diverters
Rungu Dualie Aluminum Full-Length Mud guards offer the best protection from mud and water.
Each new Mud Guard incorporates a Mud Diverter at the base of the mud guard as described in the installation manual – click here.
Mud Diverters are only available with Aluminum Full-Length mud guards. Aluminum Full-Length mud guards ship with replacement end stops to prevent interference between the mud guard stay and adjacent fork.
Extended Length Polymer mud guards
Though not as effective in wet conditions as Aluminum Full-Length mud-guards, Extended Length Polymer Mud-Guards are an improvement over legacy mud guards. In addition to being longer than legacy mud guards, these mud guards fasten to the front forks with a single tool. You do not need to carry a crescent wrench to remove these in the field. Available for all Rungu Dualie models – front and rear mudguards protect you when riding on wet and muddy terrain.
Legacy mud guards
Minimal effectiveness, these mud guards shipped with Rungu Dualie units from 2019 through mid 2023.
Rear mud guard
The rear mudguard interferes with Rungu Cargo Rack so it is Not compatible with Rungu Dualie XR models. The rear mud guard can be used with Rungu Dualie Rugged and Rungu Dualie Steep if the rear rack and forward rack mount are removed from the vehicle. Use the rear with Rungu Dualie Standard or Rungu Juggernaut models, or in lieu of the rear cargo rack when scouting or other situations when you want to leave the cargo rack behind.
